Our craft
Every pair has a maker.
Before a pair reaches you, it passes through many hands: the leather is chosen, the pattern cut, the upper stitched, shaped over a last and finished at the edges. Each craftsperson leaves their mark.
We work this way because things made slowly, by people who care, last longer and feel better than anything made on a line.
From hide to your feet
Four steps, all by hand
No two hides are the same, so no step is rushed. This is how every Izzy Crafts pair is made.
Step 1
Cutting
Each piece is cut from the hide by hand, following the grain so the leather moves the way it should.
Step 2
Stitching
Uppers are stitched with waxed thread, stitch by stitch, for seams that hold their line for years.
Step 3
Lasting
The upper is pulled over a wooden last and left to take its shape, which is where the fit is made.
Step 4
Finishing
Edges are burnished, the leather is conditioned and every pair is inspected before it leaves the bench.

A pair made for your feet, not for a shelf.
Choose the style, the leather, the colour and the sole. Tell us about half sizes, wider fits or the date you need them for. We measure, confirm every detail with you and make your pair from the first cut.

Ordering is a conversation
Every pair is made to order, so we speak with you before we start. It takes a few minutes and means your pair is right the first time.
Step 1: Choose your pair
Pick your style and size, and add any fit notes. Want another colour? Mention it in your order notes.
Step 2: Send your order on WhatsApp
Checkout opens WhatsApp with your order already written. A person reads it, not a bot.
Step 3: We confirm, then we make
We confirm price, size and delivery with you, and only then does your pair go to the bench.
